when you save and run the page, you will see what ever the user types, inline it will be auto converted to upper case.

Slight problem. It only makes the item appear to change the case. The actual contents are still whatever case was typed and so that is what is saved to the database.
This is good, but it’is only what you see; the value will not really be converted to uppercase. To convert it you must add the following:
style=”text-transform: uppercase;” onKeyUp=”this.value=this.value.toUpperCase();”
Problem with this is if you type in the middle of the text field, it then places you at the end!
